suzuki intruder/marauder

I know these threads are mostly sports bike influenced but i would like your opinions on the vs800 and vz 800 suzuki cruisers at the moment they are priced at $10.990 which is not bad for a brand new 800cc machine.

reason i ask is that swmbo spotted the flyer in the latest bike trader and went all gooey on me.

any idea how they are comfort wise? 2 up touring potential ?

any thoughts please

yea Dan i already tried to run that one by her(fell on deaf ears,) what i am looking for is a comfortable 2 up touring bike. i had a ride on a friends 91 k100 beemer awhile back and that did it for me, let's face it my fzr is fun to ride but not for 2 people over long distances.

i do like to have the full fairing as i use the bike every day for work in all weathers(hard barsterd)   we have promised ourselves a new bike at the end of the year so we are going to have a good look around and suss out all options.
