    Down to only one Katoombah...

    I sold my LC4.

I'm not sure I really wanted too, as I loved that bike, but there was too much overlap between the LC4 and the LC8 (and the 640 was being neglected).

I'm thinking that perhaps it should be replaced with an Adventure/Trail bike (with the emphasis on Trail), like a 525EXC.

    Any thoughts?

Good thinking, EXC is further from the LC8. The 450 is considered a sweeter bike to ride than its bigger brother.

How about going even smaller - those WR250Rs look like a cool bike.

    Cheers

That's pretty much the response I expected, which is why I didn't suggest going that far.
    Cheers,

As i mentioned I didnae really want to sell the 640, but I figured it would gimme a chance to balance the collection, as the 640 is a bit heavy to do serious trails. I figured I needed a smaller enduro bike.

When I looked on Tardme, there it was - the bike I sold prior to buying the LC4, and it appeared to have been stuck in a time warp.
It is an '02 DRZ400EKS I sold it five years ago and the guy has done 500km's on it! It's done a total of 2700km since new - so I bought it back today and I pick it up on Saturday.

Good one! The DRZ will be a good garage mate for the 950.

I saw your 640 on the weekend, she was stripped down & getting some good lovin' from the new owner ready for our South Island expedition in a couple of weeks, I've never seen her so clean.

    Cheers
