A question regarding photos at track days...

I just want to get some sort of an idea of how many people pay to get their photo taken by some pro photographer on track days like puke and on taupo....

What sort of prices would you think would be reasonable to hire a dedicated photographer ?
    Any help would be great!

    Cheers,

    Haim.

I'm pretty sure there is a photographer at the Moto TT events. Uploads his pics onto his website, and you buy them through him.

I have had a mate take photos of me...granted it was a pretty good camera but I reckon they came out as good, if not better than some of the professional ones

Ditto. We took someone to Manfeild with us and he had a nice camera. I was pretty happy with the pictures he took AND they cost me nothing!

Please keep in mind this is a family show and any pornographic material should be PMed directly to my inbox !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Track Day Photo's

Most track days arrange photographers who know what they are doing to be there. However, to get them you need to get in touch with the track day organiser and/or via the track days web site.

As for being worth it... anything from $10 to $$$ dependant on size and quantity ordered and yes, worth every cent as far as I am concerned. There is a huge difference between a mate with a "good" camera and a pro with a pro camera.

Example of a photo I had taken of me at Taupo attached...

There is a Kiwi Track Day at Pukekohe tomorrow (Auckland Anniversary day)
and there will be a photographer there.

This picture is from a couple of years ago at Ruapuna. The pic was taken off a professional photographers website.

I can't remember what it cost but if and when I make it to 85 years old at least the grandchildren might think that I had some sort of a life..

Nothing, my hubby takes awesome pics of me and others... even from pit wall! (Ok, I took the last two, but still...) (Oh and he'll probably be mad at me for posting "not his best work" and pics I've edited badly, Sorry hunny)

I would rather be an amateur photographer taking photos of professional riders than a pro photographer taking photos of amateur riders.
