    Dream bike for life

OK - here are the rules.

All of a sudden you get loads of $$ to buy your dream bike. Any bike you like, money is no object.

However - this is the only bike you will be allowed to ride for the rest of your life (how this ridiculous situation comes about I don't know - but work with me here).

So given the rules (however stupid they may be) - what bike would you get and why.

On first thought I'd say a 1098, but couldn't imagine me riding one at 60, so I'll say a Monster S4RS.

    Tennessee Redneck Boss Hoss

What more do I need to say...V8, awesome paintjob, and an exhaust tone to shake the windowframes...

My bike doesn't leak oil; it marks its territory.

Maybe a bit impractical if it was all I could ever ride, but I'd think seriously about one of these...

A rigid Panhead custom with 22" extended springers. Kickstart and linkers. Shotguns. 21" front, no brake. 15" VW back rim. Stainless 200 spoke wheels.

Or if they were all sold out, then a late model Munch Mammut.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

It would have to be a custom bike built to my specifications, with helpful advice from certain folks in the know, the biggest issue is it would have to be the parts are going to be available for for the 30 + years.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Second thoughts, given there's (hopefully) still quite a bit of my life left, and judging by the way petrol prices have been lately.... maybe it should be one of these. 215mpg!
