Thanks for that Jim, I was in Sydney most of the week and missed the server crash so I wasn't suffering any extra KB withdrawal. I am suffering bike withdrawal though and must get out there again shortly.

Wow, and here's me worrying about the Magpie dive bombing me as I went for a walk yesterday! Now I've got to worry about them when I'm on the scoot! Cheers.![]()
When you take thousands of photos of your bike does the light from the flashweaken the plastic?
im not too sure on bees... dont think ive had one yet. but large flies... hmmm. you dont really feel it. the small sandflys you feel, specially when riding through a cloud of them. those hurt like buggery. the larger the bug, the less it hurts.
i kinda get a delayed reaction when something hits me. all my senses sorta go mute [my hearing is most noticible. i go almost deaf for a second when impact happens] and then by the time thats over, the pain is as well. never actually feel it.
i find a cold burst of rain hurts more, cos it numbs the skin.
mind you... i have had a bee hit my knee at over 100k... damn near jumped off the back of the bike, lol. same for stones.
i think bees crack when they hit the visor cos the visor is solid. a human face is rather less solid, so nothing to really crack it. [though, at speed, it all feels the same i guess!]

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
BOOM!!!! HEADSHOT! lol
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
Trouble is EJKDDORAI, if it had been a headshot, things would more than likely have been a completely different story - probably followed by another 'Biker Down' thread.
Ah,well... yeah.....
i was just referring to the bird lol
