These fucking wof places honestly... had so much trouble with them.

I'm a student and broke, got to pay for a bike for my brothers bike i crashed due to mechanical failure. I'm getting very desperate and need some help in regards to getting that fucking wof sticker PLEASE.

    So basically....

Go a WOF place that DOSN'T do repairs - then they have no vested interest in failing you for little things thay can fix.

Other than that - if your car cannot stand up to a WOF without $$$$$'s being spent then its probally not road worthy and should be off the road - else it can become a danger to other road users.

    Yeah here's an idea.

    Fix it yourself. Stop whining.

Don't put your POS on the road where it could cause my WOF'd, registered and safe motorcycle at harm.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I've tried both the mechanics places and the wof only places. Both have failed me on such tripe in the past. Though i'd try CITY NISSAN as I got a free wof voucher from them and since they are so amazingly busy and don't have any room but to make appointments in advance, i figured they wouldn't want anything to do with my car and to make money on me.

If anyone can help me out with a dodgiest wof place you know, somewhere that doesn't want anything to do with you- i'd greatly appreciate it.

    Hi there,

It's a 2001 Nissan Wingroad, great condition. I'm sure it's in better condition than your RF900. It's not going to cause you any harm, that's for sure.

    Cheers.

Since all sorts of places have failed you and you are the one looking for a dodgy WOF - me thinks the problems not them but (wait for it) YOU!!!!

Try VTNZ - they are straight up.

My RF900 sailed through its WOF on December 27, 2008.

Tell us about your warrant of fitness inspection.

I would respectfully suggest there appears to be a credibility gap here dude.

That's right, there is. But this is rediculous. I waited over an hour for this Wof to be done.

Basically, apparently i've got nails in both my rear tyres, yet i've never had losses in pressure...

Front tyres are apparently too worn, yet i measured lowest of 2.5mm with average of 4mm.

Power steering belt got a split in it- don't know how there are pre 1995 cars even on the road if this has gone. It has an absolutely tiny split in it i'm amazed anyone saw.

Engine mounts split- again, no idea how a pre 1995 car can be on the road. This car has not many km's either.

Bull eye on front windscreen- so small. Passed it's previous wofs with this, no problems....

Of course i now realise not to go to any similar places but i feel this is rediculous.

Please, i don't want an argument, just a way i can get this sticker.

    .

Lets start with the easy one then huh - Do you actually have nails in the tyres?

Or is that something they are making up?

    Hey there,

I'm sure they couldn't make this one up? Had a quick look after the wof but haven't seen anything.

I've had a lot of vehicle troubles recently... please, i stress that the thread is not about repairing the vehicle, it is about places to go for the wof.

    Cheers.

Get the tyres fixed, or replace.

    Change the belt.

I take it you mean the rubber inserts on the mounts. Tricky to bodge. I'd replace the rubbers.

Sorry dude. This is a dealbreaker on the warrant. Ring the Novus people.

Agreed - there's a few little things. But they're all important.

Think about it - tyres either worn or with punctures, worn engine mount, crack in windscreen, potential steering loss.

Come on mate. I wouldn't give you a warrant. You owe it to yourself and US not to bodge this one.

    Do the right thing.

Ok thanks for that riffer, but for now i'm just going to hold on and wait for a PM, i've explained the situation, and i'm sure there are some people who can help out who have been in the same position. Unfortunately, sometimes you just can't do things the right way eh.

    Thanks.

This is a wind up thread yeah???

Some plonker wanting everyone to 'bite' ?

As already mentioned - details of what failed have been entered on computer so good luck getting a real one.

Even if you get a fake one - the next time you have a police car near you and they run your plate it will say "no wof" - then you will be pulled over... that is when you get in LOTS OF TROUBLE.

Also if you drive this car - which has been professionally deemed "unsafe" you then become a rolling potential manslaughter charge waiting to happen.

Add to that how tetchy bikers are about cagers anyway....

I kind of hope you hit a power pole after reading what you want...
