Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak

I went thru the day before it opened on a charity ride. About 200 bikes in the tunnel at one time.

Even my little fella on the back said "WOW dad that sounded cool!!!"

That reminds me, last time I was in Taiwan in Jan 2007 I went through the "Snow Mountain Tunnel", a series of 3 tunnels that total 12.9km (with the longest being 7+km, from memory - they have signs at the start with the tunnel lengths). The tunnels took 14 years to build and is the 5th longest in the world. I would love to ride a large capacity V-Twin with aftermarket pipes through that, but alas, motorcycles are not permitted on the freeways in Taiwan... yet.

What ride was that? I (and I'm guessing a lot of others) knew nothing of that ride, but I would've loved to be part of it!

I didnt know anything about it either.

I think it was raised by Uasilies (spelling sorry). I don't know for sure. I was heading back from the Puhoi pub and rode right into it. I just tagged along.
