Wow, that's big dollars! R&D costs though I guess, wouldn't be selling as many units as Arrow so I guess that cost is always going to be split up at a higher rate. The ol' cone shaped end thing seems to be very much in vogue at the moment, you're not the first to mention that to me recently

Be interested to hear yours at the track (you doing the 28th aye?) Your model don't have the hassels of the CO sensor though does it ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I'm definately keeping a twin pipe arrangement as I am keeping the rear passenger pegs (for the boss). The Street Triple looks good with a single low mount only when the rear pegs and hangers come off (otherwise it doesn't really look balanced). Also I want to stay with the twin bug eyes/twin stubbies look of the Triumph Street and it's big brother the Speed Triple.

So as far as twin mufflers go, I like what Micron do and Akrapovic. The Arrows are a little too pricey and look a bit thin.

Trouble is with the big brands - you pay big dollars just for a slip on.

How about getting some tried and true slip ons and replace mid pipe locally later???

The CO on the 06 are on the cast splitter where it goes from one into two !
Think the 07 CO is before or on the collection box just after the headers so ya can just throw on a slip on can !
    And yeah the 27th

triumph have this funny thing of using all their parts up until they run out, so even though mine is an early 07 with the updated ecu etc, it still has the 06 exhaust system on it. no dramas with the sensor as when you order an 06 slipon the mid pipe has a threaded hole for it.

Oooh yeah, the Zards I've seen are definitely sexy little beasts... they make some cool looking mufflers. Akrapovics are gems too, never seen a set of those I didn't like... The Yoshi carbon ones with the carbon end caps look like something I'd make in my garage in comparison.
