Good entertainment don't come cheap eh? Still, at least it wasn't wasted on a lack of audience!!

Great to hear you survived to tell your humorous little tale, and good job there was no big ass truck moving across your slide path.

Yrah man, deffo, I got a mirror and windshield from Bugjuice last night, so she's coming together piece by piece, hopefully she'll be back on the road sooner rather than later

Leather jacket- cant even tell where I slid.
Sounds like the cordura worked. Unless you plan to have multiple spills with the same gear.
I bet your leather wouldn't keep out a light West Coast shower though. (That's equivalent to a North Island monsoon)

    ...that's classic.

Good to hear you and your bike are ok though.

Nice write up and kudos to admitting your 'self taught cornering tutorial'

hence I am getting some leathers with gore tex inserts.... hopefully should do the trick for my SI ride.

But I believe in leather now.... after seeing the performance (simi non) of cordura at a slow low side.
