WR480 Supermoto, what's it worth? Now for sale $9300 ONO

    Guys,

I sold my YFZ Quad to build this Supermoto, I am not sure I made the right decision as I really miss my quad.

Now I know how much I have spent but understand you never get that so what do you guys think it would be worth?

    It is:
2005 WR450, fully road legal first registered 2007. Would be sold with WOF/Rego etc
    Engine:
Fully rebuilt with new bearings and seals throughout
Brand new casings from USA at stupid money
Cases modified to use Quad oil squirter nozzle to safe guard the common WR wrist pin failure
07 YFZ oil pump, higher flow and pressure for nozzle upgrade
    Brand new WR Crank
    Athena 480cc Cylinder
    JE Piston
Ported head with Kibblewhite +1 valves
    Radius cut valve seats
    YZ exhaust cam
FCR Carb sent to USA and taper bored to 42mm
White Brothers Carbon Pro 2 Titanium system(my favourite bit to be honest)

    Wheels and brakes:
Excel Rims with Talon Gold hubs
    Dunlop GP Sportmax tyres
Braking front 4 pot caliper and 320mm rotor
    Brembo master
    DID Gold chain

    Frame:
    Re-painted silver
    New One Industries Graphics
    UFO Supermoto front fender
    Trailtech Vapor dash

Now I have JUST finished this build, literally done 20 mins up the road to test it and then dropped the oil, filter and coolant for new. I still need to put it through a WOF but as above will be sold ready to run. I also still have all standard bits for off road.

As you can see I have spent a FORTUNE and everything is what I consider the best. The top end head work is what makes these big bores really breath.

So what do you think? Will get some pictures up soon.

Jesus if I got $12k I would be overjoyed!!!

I am not 100% on selling mate, if I don't get decent money it will be at the track, just need to get some more hours on it see if it grows on me.

    Nice job!

I reckon if you could be bothered though, you'd end up with more $ if you took it back to standard and sold off the parts saparately.

Sorry mate, would'nt have the foggiest on what it might be worth, good luck if you do decide to sell it. Lot of effort gone in there, i'd give it a chance to grow on you, must be absolutely haunted in the tight going not to mention a shite load of fun to ride.

Well I had a play at weekend and really enjoyed it, set up the jetting better etc. I was up in Methven at the in-laws and was riding around some back roads, then doing a slow turn it slipped on some fucking gravel

It has scratched a few bit like peg, bar ends and brake lever........ Nothing major but it's sealed the fait for me and her, it's on Trademe for $9300 but I will split it up for bits if it doesn't sell whole.

If anyone has a race quad and wants to swap let me know.
