Last time I threw a punch, a junkie had just hit my friend in the face with a half-brick. His mate was threatening me, and for some reason stopping him seemed more important than my technique.

has developed a love of big fours. WTF!
I wouldn't try the same trick for you child. He'll have no friends as parent will not let their children assossiate with him. Besides do you realy need to intimidate other parents or the school to prevent your child from 'possible' bullying.

I still try to back away from fights, but i have a bad temper that i cant control.
But dont ripp me for this reido, who said that the guys who take of their shirts are the ones who deserve it.Some can be getting picked on then then they take their shirt of.
And yes eat or be eaten it is always good to stop the situation from escalating to a fight its good to hear you stopped it from getting bad.I dont want to sound like a violent person but as soon as someone touches me,pushes or whatever i go crazy and dont stop.
if someone say pushes me saying they want to fight me, or if they walk in to me and want to fight me i just cant help it.everyone knows me as a nice funny guy but when i snap i most likely kinda swing a few. but ultimately i dont really get angry at people i like to crack the jokes not jaws, honestly i keep positive most of the time, just because of what i said in previous posts doesent mean im a really bad violent person.i keep the good times rolling![]()
I did read this. Then I had a second read of it. And a third. I am probably thick, but somehow I can not get what you are trying to say here. Sorry!
If this is (as the conclusion is that I have come to) in referrence to my post #2 re me taking my son to school on the bike, then I think that you might have missed it a fraction.
- There was no intimidation of parents, school or children intended or achieved.
- My action by taking him to school on the bike resulted in him becoming very popular.
- There was no "possible" bullying going on. To him it was real. The teachers did not see it (as they told me at the meetings I had with them).
- I did this to create a "cool" factor. And it did work. He became the boy who's dad was riding this big black bike with straight pipes. And who's dad would take him for rides. On other later occasions when I visited the school on the bike I would have the ones who now were my son's mates come and ask if they could also have a ride. My answer was always the same; only if your parents tell me it's OK.
But I might have missunderstood you here. Perhaps you did not refer to my posting at all, but to the umphteen of totally irrelevant to this thread "I am a bad ass fighter" postings (that I have not read)?
yeah, this thread has got a bit rediculous - I think you did the right thing, but it is a bit of a gamble. - when i have kids, hell yeah they are getting a lift to school on the bike!
I dunno enough about the circumstances behind the office reference bit, but if someone is rubbish at their job, they deserve a truthful reference, not a lie to make some point that they rejected the sleeze boss, or a lie because the boss was scared.

how to fight like a woman.= aim to win.
Last fight I got in was a couple of days ago, just finished work at 4 am.
Pulled up to the lights and this white trash style of guy. walks up and says "oi, girly i'm robing you. give me your bike!"
He was about 50cm from me by this time.I just drew my work knife and stabbed him in the leg and rode off calling an ambo for him as I went. (got to love blue tooth helmets)
Moral of the story; if you are trained to fight you are trained to finish the fight as fast as you can.

Oi! where's me tigers head?
4 ft from its tail!
Yep, there is clearly much more to the office story. A young girl being dropped in to the deep end w/o training, first office job w/o experience, putting in long hours (and w/e's w/o pay) to try and get it all done, but getting no recognition. Tears and frustration, and then being dropped and getting the shittiest reference I have ever seen.
Protection and taking care of the ones who are yours is probably what it is about. Very high on the list for me.
actually... you'd be surprised.. im a member of the US Veterans Club here in Aucks and we have a few.. i know of about a dozen regular force US military in NZ at this time...
the oldest US Marine in NZ is a Veteran of Guadalcanal... he was a dive bomber pilot..and yes.. he still considers himself a Marine at nearly 90
there are also 3 Navy SEALS.. a few SF Soldiers (SOG, Rangers, ) a member of the 10th Mountain Div.. at LEAST 4 RECON Marinesand rumors of a DELTA in the South Island...
there is also a detachment of Active Duty US Marines in Welly as Embassy guards ..
im fairly certain that this small list could take NZ in a few hours if properly motivated
