Ride was ok. I hate riding on gravel roads, but its a means to an end I guess.

Got to the ride pretty late, only did one lap by which time it was time to go home again. Bumped into Rekless and A&R I think. Nice to meet you guys. Noticed the Dirt Division flag flying high

Also talked with one of Climinties daughters (Grace?). I think you were out on the kids loop Climintie?

Lots of steep stuff and dust.... damn dust.

Very cool day out with the kids....

I fell into two rabbit holes before leaving the car park, lost my glasses in one of them so couldn't see the camera settings, had an unceremonious lay down in front of the sweep crew, and got a puncture. So everything quite normal....

Took Grace and Sophie out on the main track and while Grace roared off into the distance poor Sophie was rather out of her comfort zone, however being the stoic little thing she is, there were no complaints and she tried her best. I did have to do a fair bit of "helping", but she made it She spent the rest of the day on the mini track, wihch she loved (bloody good track guys..... )

Grace and I did a second loop with no dramas, but did notice several bikes over banks and a couple quite high in trees....

Big thanks to Scott, Craig and all your elves for a job well done....

    Def back next year.............

Yeh Thanks Scott and all your helpers.
Went out with A&R and met Climintie there. Nice to meet Krad etc as well!

Thought the track was good bit of everything. Not that technical but you couldn't have it much more difficult with the type of riders there. Some good up and down hills. Overall for a MR Moto Ride 10/10 Scott!!
And please do a kids track like that again it was brilliant for the learners.
Didn't find the dust to bad. Better that, than that rain that threatened. Would have been a nightmare for the learners if it was muddy.

Meter on the bike says we did just under 3 hours in the saddle and just under 100 kilometers for the day. If I could get my butt organised a bit earlier I could have done 4 loops.

    Good day though!!

PS First time I've tried that dynamo Mix for cleaning, First time I haven't used the water blaster either. I like it!! Much easier on the bike not to blast the shit out of it!! Bloody good stuff!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

The kids track have gotten hugely more popular in the last couple of years, and we are wokring on how to make it better, had a lot of comments on having the bigger kids tracks like what we had yesterday, will keep working on the series,

Yeh mate it had two effects from what I could see.

1/- I would've taken our learner riders had I known it would have kept them entertained for the whole day so you'll get more riders if you keep that up.
2/- It seemed keep some of the kids/learners off the main loop!

I think we better start calling it a learners loop!

    Good stuff!

your 100% right Reckless, we were talking about it on the weekend, i think we need 2 loops now, a small around a paddock for the very slow 50cc bikes and absolute begginners then a learners loop similar to yesterdays one,

The kid's loop looked great. It'd be cool to see more like that, if I'd known how it was gonna be I would have bought my bike for a noodle, figured since I'm selling it I'd be best not to scuff it up any more on the main loop (heard there was some decent carnage out there) but that would've been alright. Would def be more inclined to bring along noob friends if there were more little tracks like that, good stuff

The intermediate loop is the go! Great for bigger kids and wives, another plus is it keeps the faster kids away from the little guys on the peewee track and off the main loop as well. Definitly the way foward, I would pick a bad ride with a good kids track over a good ride and a shit kids track anyday, keeps things sweet with the family aye
