    I need insurance advice

My insurance is due on a Kawasaki z650C, 1978. [1] about how much is the bike worth (give me a range). [2] where should I go for a quote?

The bike is in good condition. I'm 50 and only rider. Not doing more than a couple thousand K's per year. Hope this helps?

I know, two r e a l l y open ended questions but I'm not after specifics. Opinions at this stage would really help me make a decision on where to go for a quote.

    Swann is good too.

Just check on you clothing insurance as swann didnt cover that with me when I had my crash.... I had to use my contents insurance.
I still have my crashed bike sitting in the garrage next to the new one I got with the insurance money.
Still waiting for them to take it away

Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow

Shop around, get as may quotes as you can from many different companies.
Try both the specialist motorbike insurance companies and the more main steam companies. You may be surprised at what you can get with the big companies in terms of quotes.

Having said that, the big companies may treat you like shit when it comes to making a claim and treat you like any other person on the street.

Give Dave a call at Kiwibiker, he is great, although I didn't go with any quote he offered, he was able to give a lot of useful advice on the issue.

Also try Classic Cover, they are pretty competitive and have a good reputation.
