Smile Rediscovering the joys of my first baby

While I await the return of my bandit, I have commandeered my ginny back off my son. This evening I went for a hoon out to Maraetai (well, as much as you can hoon on a GN) and it was delightful!

I have to admit to disregarding my poor wee baby in the presence of her big sister, but this evenings ride has made remember just how much fun the smaller bike can be. Sure she dances a bit more on really rough surfaces and gets pushed around more in the wind but I'll certainly not ignore the GN again. I was able to push her along in a way that, if I'd done that on the bandit, I'd have probably been spat off!

Ahhhhh. Will treat her to a much deserved wash and clean tomorrow I think.
I lahk to moove eet moove eet...

On ya, PB! When Gassit Girl was learning, she had a wee 250 Bandit, which I used to ride every now and then (of course this was AFTER all the official requests had been submitted to headquarters!), and it was a hoot! It was one of the variable valve timing Bandits that SNZ brought in new during 1999.
Great little bike... wish we still had it
