It's all right. This is why they don't usually let the CS lecturers out.

Someone must have left a door open, and he's escaped and found the internets.

while i can agree writing what a lecturer wants will get you marks, i have to ask what field you're in.... those of us in science/maths/engineering/medicine tend to deal with facts/numbers/established theories, not opinions in our work.

    Or several.

I am a communist (though not a Marxist) and I don't believe in mass transit systems or communal facilities. I do believe in bikes. There is an enormous thesis corpus available to anyone who wants to explore the effect of the ready availability of personalised transport that was affordable to the proletariat. (actually I think its been done). In fact , it destroyed the classical proletariat as a class.

And when I was at university (admittedly a century or two ago), whilst most of my topics did not afford scope for disagreement , in those that did, I ALWAYS disagreed with the lecturer on principle. And was not, I think, marked down therefore.

And, whilst I am certainly disappointed in the students of today , a wimpish and subservient lot, it still holds true that if anyone is going to stick it to the Man it will be the bikers.

You focus on the University Scooter and Motorcycle. You should focus on the University Scooter and Motorcycle.

Anyone wonder how long it took skid's posts to be allowed?

Bikes are awesome, a 50 minute bus ride + 10 minute walk or a 15 minute bike ride + 1 minute walk. Hmmmmm.

Heh, gotta love the way the majority of our club rides scooters, yet you never see anyone who rides a scooter

Wow! I didn't expect this much feedback, but from the comments posted it appears that the Uni isn't meeting it's goals on 'collectivism"; that's a good thing.....nice to know the Uni students are keeping an open mind and individuality!

The goal of the Uni is collectivism? Mate this isn't patriotic America anymore!
