Good mileage, comfortable and enough HP sauce for enjoyment - only downside I know of is a minor off usually results in a need for a lot of plastic parts. Probably isn't an issue any longer, but the intial few had suspect factory luggage which was replaced under warranty - just ask the seller if he knows the ancestry of its bags (assuming it has any)

    Great Motor.
Brakes OK but not sports bike quality.
    300k's to the tank at 100 - 120.
Can play in the twisties and relax on the straights.
Have done three SI tours on the ST1050, probably the best all round Sports Tourer you can get

If you want one I have an 06, purchased new June07 so still has a few months of factory warranty. 18,500 kms, Triumph Sports exhaust (better sound and a few extra ponies), touring screen and sports screen, triumph tank pad, original Triumph panniers, Ventura Pack Rack and grab rail. New Front tyre. Usual few stone chips etc, but never been down.
