have been going through the ride links, done by motoxnut.
looks like 2 days will be close to 700kms, give or take a km
then depend which way we go up,
and which way home.aprox 550kms / 7 hrs travel each way.
= aprox 1800 kms give or take a km.
this only aprox direct routes. not taking in for stops to rest my ass and to wait for you to refuel.
sweet.![]()

[QUOTE=Eddieb;1990479Most of us are traveling up Friday through river road and Matahiwi weather permitting and a few will be coming back monday via the forgotten highway.
Cheers Pete.]
]I got lost after 7 pages.
When are the Welly crew going up, Friday?
And coming back, sunday arvo or Monday?
And do they have any bunks spare?[
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"
For those who havent caught up with it already, the calendar listing ( HERE ) has been updated with Google map routes for both days and due to popular opinion the Saturday start time has been moved forward 1 hour to 9.00 am so that we can arrive in Taumarunui before dark![]()
