but while your there, i just been looking a some pics of the 42 track, and it looks a little nasty, but nice.
have u riden it in the wet, and in your mind, is a set of E-07s going to get me through with minimal trouble..
if we strike a little rainy stuff.....
An E-07 on the rear will get you anywhere.
Just stick something MT21/D606/TKC80 style on the front.

true but braking on loose surfaces is vastly better with something meaty (E09, 606) on the back.

Sheeet, glad you didn't get ticketed mate - also remember the stupid buggers have stuck the rego out of sight behind the reg plate on that thing - must remember to go get a holder and replacement tag - don't really wanna get pulled over for something silly!

Hope you told the Doctor to be gentle with her!

Hey Joe, i went through from the Owhango end on Sunday which is supposed to be the more difficult direction and had no worries at all.

My rear tyre is currently a 3/4 worn IRC GP110 which is a close pattern peice of crap like a Bridgestone Trailwing,so even in the wet you should have no problem with your E-07s.

Fishers track is actually more wet/boggy than the 42nd but is mostly downhill anyway and not steep, mainly second gear riding so you should be okay as long as you dont fill you fuel tank right up and add another 100 kgs weight to the bike.

So as I suspected, the Trailwings that came on my DR definitely have to go before the KCR! There's no chance I am going to be able to be a cheap git and leave them on is there - damn damn damn!!!!
    Cheers, Dave
