    Pete - I'm currently running an E07 on the rear of my DR - they offer reasonable (not startling) traction in mud and I expect they will last longer than a DOT knobbly like the D606 over the winter commuting months. Price about $145.

    just goes to show what a Nana rider I am I got 6k from a D606 on the rear of my DR and manage 7k from a TKC on the rear of my bimmer

    Thats good milage out of a tkc on the rear, I only averaged 4k a tyre on rear TKC's on the KLR. You must be a very smooth rider.

    I got 8000km from an SR244 rear and 20500 from the front.
    15000km from an E-07 rear.
