just been checking out Mark's route using his Google maps.
Man, that is quite a big Sat in store for you lot. All trail bike riders need to remember to liberally douse each others butt in Monkey Butt powder.
By Sunday arvo you'll be glowing so well that Carver and Sidewinder will notice you from Hamilton.
    Awesome route guys, enjoy.
(the ride has grown a bit big, numbers wise for this girly girl, so I will humbly take a pass)

Might see if I can catch up some where along the way.
I've fitted the Pirelli Scorpians to the bike, which I'm enjoying on the seal, and the occasional hard pack gravel, but Hauturu rd etc will have me washing out, and wallowing like a sow on fermented apples. The front 19" isn't much fun on street tyres
(this just means I need to get a true adv bike. One I can beat up, and not worry about shiny chrome, and pretty paint work).

Be good to see you, fellow unemployed individual, we could exchange dole stories....

Not unusually, it looks like I will be doing a one dayer of this ride as sunday has got itself filled up with things I can't weasel out of, so if you fancy a really early blast down the west coast you'll find me somewhere near Port Waikato at dawn.

I'd spend the two dollars on meths, and trade the paper for a couple of slices of bread to sieve the meths through. (i think i've missed my true calling in life)

    Matahiwi track Friday

Anyone intending doing the Matahiwi track please PM me so we can coordinate meeting places.
Garry W suggested that we meet at Shell Mana early e.g. 8-8.30 to be confirmed later.

The farm manager wants us to travel from the Paraparas and come out onto the river road; there will be directors of the trust doing a tour of the property that morning so good rider behaviour will be essential.
I will have to sign a document absolving the land owners of any responsibility of injury acquired whist on the property.

We need to be on the track before 11am.

For the guys that havnt been on the river road You will get to ride the best part.

    Cheers Pete.
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"
