After our extremely shitty year last year, and spending most of January sick as hell I finally gave in and went to the hospital and my GP booked me in for an ultrasound to make sure there was nothing nasty going on after having Evalyn. On the day I was due to go in for my ultrasound I had a gut feeling, maybe wishful thinking.......

I'm sorry but I'm really having difficulty containing myself after finding out I'm already approximately 6 weeks pregnant
Neither of us can quite believe it!!! Its so hard trying not to get to excited again.. There is definately a long road ahead and I'm not in the safe zone yet, and will be pretty much be treated as high risk until we are handed a healthy screaming baby.

So now we're waiting on my first ultrasound in Whangarei to give a definate date, then we'll be looking at ALOT of trips to Auckland for ultrasounds as they'll be following this pregnancy very closely compared to last time.
Makes me nervous but I can't wait!
yay! well done! see, remember what i said about this year maybe being good?

Definately hard to contain myself, it took 11 piss sticks all up and 1 blood test for me to finally believe it. I seriously thought it was another nasty trick

Thankyou all and will definately update with pics once we get to see our little sprog for the first time

actually, i have very real reasons to worry about miscarriages... damned isofluorane... one reason why i dont even want to try to have kids, i can imagine it would be so terrible to lose a baby... but once again, here's holding thumbs and crossing fingers AND toes for you!
