Red light runner took me out Fri...

Shop SV thou...minding my own business riding down Cambridge Tce back to the shop. Turkey runs the red and it's all I can do not to 'T' Bone him. Looked like he was gonna continue down Cambridge Tce...so I had an escape route to his left. All good untill he then swerved suddenly to go down the side St by Tony's tyres!!!

Had the back wheel off the deck...and finally had to put the thing down. Missed him by a couple of inches. Bad enough, but he then did a runner. The SV wouldn't restart because of the tip over switch, so I thought the fucker would get away. I nabbed a guy on the side of the road that saw it all, got his cell phone number, then rushed back to work on foot. Grabbed a Fatboy that was out on the street ready to go and went looking for this 'chap'.

Surprise surprise...he'd hidden his car under Moore Wilsons. SPRUNG. Bet he didn't think I'd come looking for him let alone find him. Left a nice note under his wiper saying he had an hour to get hold of me or I'd contact the police...he came into the shop pleading ignorance...and his lack of *Engrish* meant he didn't understand what I was saying. So I drew him a nice wee diagram of what happened...and he now understands. Didn't cough up for the damage to the bike though...so know the police are involved.

    Sorted.

You and some of the boys didnt take him out the back and work him over a bit when he was in the shop? Disappointing.

in all crashes its not the cars fault its the riders fault.so many riders whine and bicth saying this car reversed out of his driveway and this and that when really where you aware of your surroundings , where you doing mirror checks etc, what action did you take.land and transport and newzealand cant be fucked in changing the car licences making them be aware of bikes and test them on checking for motorcycles.

Fucking idiot. You offer a "get out of jail, free!" (or, at least, numerous grands) and he says no? Shall we start with "leaving the scene" and work outwards from there?

He's lucky not to find himself in the harbour with a GN250 attached to his ankles.

I'm pretty aware of my surroundings when I ride mate. No need for mirror checks in this instance. The fucker pulled straight out in front of me with about 20 ft between us. If I may say so...most people would've collected him.
