Dry Dusty as expected but Thunder was pretty rough I thought. The wash board areas where pretty bad in places. Mind you as the speed (and track familiararity) got up throughout the day, the faster you went over them the better! Not much challenge in the hills when its not muddy but overall was really good to ride with the faces I haven't met before. I shoulda gone up top and met the guys up there, sorry guys! Still haven't met Ktm boy and Dammad1 either. But really good to be out on a lovely day, riding!

PS Hope Sammikins isn't to sore today after her first real trip to a bike park and we didn't put her off by dragging her round the B loop. Good effort you go girl!
PSS She slept some of the way home LOL!!!

Now to see if I can slip out to the Sandpit Sunday???
Yeah sorry I didn't catch up with you reckless, I did see you guys parked across the way, but we spent alot of the day off the beaten track playing on a track that I made there a while back, nice little grass type mx track.

It was a good day, it was certainly one of the busiest days i've seen there.

I also noticed there was alot of people up at the kids track, but it looked like alot of them weren't kids.

Did manage to get a puncture right at the end of the last lap which is the first time I have ever had a puncture with a heavy duty tube.

Maybe we'll catch up at the next GNCC?

Thanks for the pics climinte. Can't say jumping is my forte these days thats for sure.

T'was a enjoyable day out overall and rather interesting. Maybe I would visit once or twice a year.

Apologies for not meeting a few of you as every time I was in, nobody was at home under the flag and I didn't click that there was a whole comunity up on the hill.. I did say hi to tommorth and met oldskool
    (you're a freakin young oldie).

I was parked by Redrider and telleman and managed to get a few loops in with them. The rest of the time was just having a nana around.

I hope grace doesn't have a headache. That was quite a face plant.

I can see the challenge when wet and have it on my list of things to do as the A loop would be a heap of fun.

I...and not the one flying at Waitangi either.

I think Reckless or clminte had one on his van. If it had been a Heineken flag I'm sure everyone would have noticed.

Actually the whole point of the T shirts, Stickers and flags was so we knew who was, and wasn't, a Kiwibiker and where they where parked so we could say Hi and ride together! Which took a bit of effort. But I suppose you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Haven't recieved my free t-shirt and stickers yet

I was on the KDX200 and driving the blue falcon.

Was out riding most of the time as I was on a tight schedule.

Cary, myself & Anthrax were on the same side as you but right by the track exit, the one time I rode up to your ute no one was home, maybe next time!

Might be the other way around...at my "advanced" years I need rest to fend of coronaries every 5 minutes so I usually come last, bloody Anthrax & Cary keep covering me in dust.

Yup, sure was.... According to the pic files, 14.02:45 reckless zooms past, shredding tires, then at 14.02:49 Zen disappears in a cloud of dust....

Was somewhat difficult carrying the camera bag round the track, neck's still sore, but worth it.....
