    In the words...

of the 5,6,7,8's, "Woohoo, woo hoo hoo!".

So for my first ride on the road I got to pick up my motorcycle from Phil Turnbull's at about 4.45pm today. And I'm still alive, woo hoo! Not that I doubted it, of course......

Next challenge, getting to work in the morning.....

Ang, with a nice shiny new tyre :-)

    Cool

If you have got a new tyre on your bike... then do take it easy.... for about 200kms to wear off the shine on the tyre... the tyre can be slippery till the shine wears off.

Palmie my old home town.....lol aint been back there for a while....

Take you new tyre for a run up to the windmill lookout on Saddle Road and back home via the Gorge. Take it quietly though. By the time you get down to Woodville it will be run in. Enjoy your new ride and its new tyre.

Er, I'll pass on that in this very early stage of the game! Especially considering the crap condition of Saddle Road at the moment.
It'll only take a week or two of buzzing (sedately) back and forth to work to sort it out :-)

Congrats about the new bike mate Just be careful with the new tyres, I just had a mate come off on a test ride round the block after putting a new front tyre on his bike

Good to hear Ang, have fun and take it easy. And, come out on some rides with us when you're feeling comfortable.

    I'll do that :-)

Anyway, I made it to work and home again without stuffing too much up, so it's all good so far
