I don't get this. Why is it that some motorcyclists think riding a motorcycle places an individual higher than anyone else. Newsflash - arseholes ride bikes too. (And I'm not refering to the cop in question, merely responding to the quote).

Please, not now. This question was raised and addressed on this forum many times in the past.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Arseholes may also ride bikes, but this doesn't mean we should be any less compassionate when they are involved in a serious accident.

Like I said, I was refering to the quote "above all else he's a bikie". What part of my response don't you understand?

Chris Kahui, stands accused and is facing trial for a heinous crime, I dont see how you can even bring his name forward as a defense for your purile comments earlier on this thread. There is a fellow (police) motorcyclist injured here, please engage your brain.

My thoughts are with the family and friends of this man, lets hope he makes a full, uncompromised recovery.

Not 'higher' dude. Just 'closer to our hearts'.

Back on topic now. Hope he's not too badly damaged.

So you think no motorcyclist has ever stood accused of a heinous crime? This site just gets sillier and sillier.

Btw, the last four reps have been green. It appears I'm not the only one who has thrown away the rose tinted specs.
