Bloody Hell, she just didn't want us to head up to the hills and the river....Mind you, on the way home we did take the baby girl out at the Hutt so she was happy!

Hey ya hawkeye - was lovely catching up as usual.

Good to hear Malcome had it sussed pretty quick, sounds to me it may need a good looking over, by EJK's remark re "Oh that happened to me too" !

Was far too hot to be doing anything bar sitting in a river yesterday, so why i was replacing a roof on the deck i'll never know, Got severely touched by the sun and was crashed out after 1 box of heine's !
Think it may be time to put a bike back on the road ! I need more excuses to get out of jobs like that, when there's no track meets !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

The Mullet is where it's at bro!
Yeah bike needs to be looked over but EJ was very straightup about what I was getting, unlike others so I am not too worried. It was a very random thing to happen and easy to fix.

Bike appears to be sweet as now. Rode it to work fine, fingers crossed for the return journey home today!

Bloody hell that explains the rivers of sweat running down the insides of my one piece leathers - and the fact that I just about passed out!

My first thought when it started to run ragged was "quick call Elle before the bitch goes for a lovely cool soak in that river!"

Yep, ive just got home and put my codura's in the washing machine - pooohie did they stink. Sorry work mates, lol!

Yeah, Elle, that is *exactly* how it went down....

Lucky for you, you didnt see the tantrum I had on the bike when it just wouldnt go any further up the road (by some bloody shade). Im un lucky enough to have blown up sooo many motorbikes that I knew that this wasnt terminal, just a mere inconvenience. You and Kari kept me sane that's for sure!

I guess you should add "Re-tighten the main jet after every 6,000kms" to your service list

Let me know when other things happen

Oooooooh shit... T'was me who put the needle jet/main jet in.

You know, I've done that before with the same carb body. Thread tape? I thought it was tight enough, but I was wary of tightening it too much after seeing the warped, twisted needle jet that EJ had overtightened like a gorilla.

I'm awfully sorry, not something one would expect to happen.

Ha, and that is why *I* should have expected it!! No harm done, easy fix. I should have known something was about to go as the bike was vibrating very badly up until it stopped...
