was not overkill just neat dark blue glow ...

Just for a laugh I brought a strip of these off Tard Me, $12 bucks i think, I put them under the subframe so that the blue shines down on the rear hugger. I thought I was going to end up pulling them off but I havent. I dont ride at night much but when I do it certainly gets noticed. And my warrent man didnt say bo.

JMemonic cheers for the link, cheap enough so Im gonna buy me one or two right now. I will post a pic on this thread when I have them and have installed them.

But looking to put a blue LED under my rev gauge aswell, so my bike will be full black with blue lighting. All the lights be subtle, but be good to look at..

I don't think mine are over kill, just glowing on the raidators, and over the rear wheel hugger, and the 2 front evil eyes...

Don't do it, attracting attention to yourself, especially when on a bike is just asking for trouble. Anything that makes your bike uniquely identifiable is a no-no.

I guess I'm fucked then! Not only do I have coloured LEDS but my bike sticks out like dogs balls, being a one of a kind!

Avoid using the air cap lights - they have a habit of not only ruining your wheel balance but can also deflate the tire at high speed. Not much to worry about on a 250 but worth considering

I put some on the bike once,figured if the wheel is rotating and emits a light it helps being visible at night,then took the bike for wof at local testical station,the guy(idiot) said they were best removed as they could be a distraction to others,I said cool they will see me,obviously he had no humour(Sth African),so removed them.When I left the guy who usually gave my wof said picky bugger eh?He pinged a ducati which had been passed 13 times for headlight angle to far to the right(usa import).

Yeah the bike draws in people no matter where I go I dont like being like everyone else, hence I run LEDs under my bike because not that many people do. I have 6 under my tank shining on my polished valve cover and 8 under the tail section shining on the rear shock. I dont do heaps of night riding but it looks cool when I do.
