    Registering a new bike?? Help.

Going to pick up my new bike tomorrow. It is a brand new Yamaha XT600. never been registered. What do I need to take to VTNZ(or similar) to register it. What paperwork should I take? What ID do I need? Any help much appreciated.

You need , ID with an address, purchase form for the bike, to say that Its yours, and the testing station should supply you with the rest. And Money.

Yea but as of this moment all I need them to do is fax my info back over to the testing centre and its sweet but you know how it will go. No one is gonna do it so it wont be done for like a week so I am gonna give them a call here soon and tell them to hurry it up. Getting it solved all I needed to do was bang my head against the problem and eventually it gives way.

Vifferman and WT.... The dealer would have registered it if he wasn't out doing the Ferruno fishing competition. If I wanted it today I had to go and do it myself Only took 3 trips to VTNZ (2 doors up) to get it sorted. Now I know what a PDI ID is... And an MR1B.... PS also got the bike for cost

Was checking the bike before taking it to VTNZ and found that when indicating right the left would flash and vice versa..... Must have been put together on a friday

Have ridden it 5.9kms so far.
