Which speedometer does the 2008/9 FZ6 have? Is it the cricle one with dig rpm or the other one?

There's a review of one in the latest Fast Bikes if you're looking at buying one. Long story short they slated it for being a total piece of shite and they couldn't understand how Yamaha can continue to sell them

Ya I am think of getting one. I was looking at ER6N, but than felt FZ6S looks better and it also has the R6 engine so I like it very much. Looks great too. Whats so crap about it?

Go read the article... apparently the looks are the only thing going for it if they're to be believed. I think the description of the motor went something along the lines of "feel like an R6 down low.... nothing, nothing, nothing, then you get to where the peak would've been on an R6.... nothing". The stats sure don't look good... R6 motor with 20HP lopped off the top end... unfortunately, the R6 only has top end, so not cool at all

It's worth getting it for a read as it describes another 6 bikes in the same class, all of which they consider better than the FZ6.

Ask Hitcher how he likes his Shiver
