'The Nature Crusher' - Sponsored by Planet Destruction Inc. would look good on the consent proposal.

'The Root 55' (ie Not route 66 or Rut 100) But only if trail length not shortened due to discovery of endangered sand flea colony half way round.

Personally I think things are getting a little too PC. Thank goodness for programmes like Rove etc.

    And my list are;

Burt and Bambi’s Most Excellent (Family) Adventure Ride

Burt and Bambi’s Sandpit Adventure Ride

Poached Eggs and Ham Adventure Ride (borrowed from “Green Eggs and Ham”)

    The Polly Joacher Ride

Jolly Sand Poacher Ride (Surely they can’t be bothered with a Sand Poacher)

    The Jolly Roger Adventure Ride

    Jolly Rogers Forest Adventure Ride

Burt and Bambi’s Jolly Poacher Ride

    The Jolly Adventure Poacher Ride

“Route 55” Adventure Ride (you can then play with the Route 66 graphics)

Jolly Wild Life (Family) Adventure Ride (leave Wild and Life as two words it has a different meaning)

    Cheers

    Robin Hood's Family Adventure Ride

Sherwood Forest Family Adventure Ride ( The organiser can dress up as Robin Hood and ride around)

Knee pads on the outside of green tights.... what do you say ladies.

The Fawlty Family Forest Adventure Ride

Ewen Gilmore's Wild West Forest Ride (I'm sure Ewen will allow you to use his name for naming rights... especially after you let him know about the Jolly poacher story.)

The Wild West Woodhil Family Forest Ride

    Woodhill Westie Adventure Ride

... okay... really, I'm going back to work...

Mystic i think you've missed KTMBOY's point slightly. He started this thread 'cos he was after a badass name for his ride. Even your "un-PC" names were a bit camp. Think along the lines of:

    etc

I agree with the people that want the name Poacher dropped.

I think we should remove all uses of the word traffic i.e. traffic lights should now be called stop and go (or Sag) lights for short. Kids may associate this with the word traffic or traffic-ing.

I think we should remove all solitary P's from signs. Like P30. They may assume that you can use P here for 30 minutes.

I know white Americans can't use the word "nigger" because it's offensive but I think that black people should be banned from using it too. Just out of curiosity if you're brown can you say the word softly?

Surely the neighbours up at Woodhill aren't that precocious and pretentious that a ride labelled with "Poacher" has them upset. FFS.

It's just a name of a ride. And a cool name. Surely if you canvas the neighbours you may find they're fine. And it's maybe someone in between who is reading more into it and assuming it would be an issue. having said that you are using the word Poacher for a motorcycle event and we all know what motorcyclists are really like... don't we.

Oops - you didn't want to discuss the PC thing....

    Names;

The Jolly Time Poacher Ride (now it's specific to time poaching... this should be good)

    Fawlty's Funniest Family Adventure Rides

    or

    Fawlties Funliest Family Adventure Rides

or Fawlties Funest Family Adventure Rides

Jolly "Egg Poacher" Ride (Egg poacher - someone who cooks eggs by poaching them)

okay... I'm really going back to work this time.

    promise.
