New Zealand’s world beating Britten V1000 superbike and two former Hamilton 100 Street Race-winning Norton Manx’s are to feature in the biggest display of historic motorcycles ever assembled in the Waikato.

Ray Hayward, Team Manager of Red Devil racing has confirmed several machines of historical significance will be on display at the upcoming Veteran, Vintage, Classic motorcycle show in Hamilton over the weekend of 14th & 15th March.

Confirmed is the Norton Manx (#34) which was ridden to success at the recent NZ Classic Register races at Pukekohe by former world champion Kevin Schwantz built by Auckland’s McIntosh Racing.
We have machines on display from former world champions, Hamiltonian Hugh Anderson and Huntly’s Ginger Malloy who will be displaying a number of his Bultaco’s.
Show visitors have the opportunity to meet local Superbike rider Andrew Stroud who rode the famous Britten V1000 to numerous BEARS wins in New Zealand and overseas.
Dean Fullerton’s 1998/99 NZ Super bike championship winning Kawasaki ZX-7RR is yet another notable inclusion in the show.

There will be both British and Japanese classic road & race machines on display with notable models such as a John Player Norton, Triumph Hurricane, HRD Vincent, 2 German built Triumph’s, Ariel square four, early Honda fours, Kawasaki Triples and side car units including a 1919 Excelsior with cane chair.
The Show is a fund raising venture for the Red Devil Race team to support our young riders financially to compete in the NZ Super Bike Championships and other events in the South Island like the Greymouth Street races and the Burt Munroe Classic held in Invercargill.

The show is open to the public on Saturday March 14th 9am to 4pm and Sunday March 15th 9am to 3pm. Entry is $10 per adult with under 16’s a gold coin donation.

This is a very rare opportunity to see possibly the biggest and most diverse display of historically significant motorcycles to ever be assembled in the Waikato under the one roof.

Went to this show, glad we didn't plan to be there early, but man there were some beautiful bikes there.
took our time and had plenty of room to walk around and check em out from all angles, pictures were OK to and generally had a good afternoon in the hall with those magnificant bikes, well done those men and woman who put this show on, was worth the entry fee.
