Who will give my helmet a lick of paint

Rotten day outside, so have been farting about on the net avoiding the weather. Came across some custom helmet design sites, which got me thinking. I remembered how this was all the rage a few years ago, with some truly tasteless results for sure and the odd acceptable design (all taste I guess).
Anyways, the Arai is looking a bit tired, nothing serious, the odd small chip and scratch, but maybe it could do with a lick of paint.
So the question is where I can get a custom paint job for the old helmet here. It would have to be someone who does this on a regular basis who knows the right paints, preperation etc.
So any ideas, testimonials, costs, dangers.

I've got a good mate who is arguably the best in the business.He charges like a wounded bull though and takes a fair while (he's got a huge backlog...)but if you've got the cash and the patience it's well worth it.

He's painted many helmets for a lot of nz's top racers.

Dude um I dunno if anyone will paint a damaged lid BUT
Theres a sighnwrighting crowd right next to henderson glass.and the kart shop in henderson
Cant remember the name of the road but its where the waitakere testing station is .
ANYHOOO--theres a guy working there does custom paintjobs on cart and car drivers helmets--sorry if it sounds vague -Ill fill in the details as i remember em

Have to be carefull on repainting lids, apparently con totally stuff em if you use the wrong paint

i didn,t count the hours as such but i would figure around 20 to 30 hours maybe, as for painting on helmets i use automotive adhesion promoters and basecoat paints and 2 pack clears, but if i remmember correctly it dose not matter what you use, you will still loose any manufacture's garantee,s on the helmet,

That's bloody awesome.. damn it, something else I want now..
I have seen a Shark lid that is almost a custom fit to me noggin, but the graphics are pants, so that put me off buying it.. now this has me thinking..

Any rough idea on prices tho? 20-30 hours of anyones work is a lot of time, and quite rightly a lot of dosh for something like that..

Gotta admit - the warrantee wouldn't be a top priority...
