    Whangamata trail loop?

    anyone been on this one??? is it ok in the wet? im thinking of heading out to this one tommorrow. hope its not clay.

    If you mean Lester Yates and Shaun Prescott's ride at the taunagatra block just north of whangamata- itll be a doozy!
    I missed last months one but many many many bikes came past my place.

    Sooooo... where were yu dude? there were several KTM 300s but theonly upside down riderers wrer my renters!! - one of them in the carpark- stacked into somebodys trailer

    reckons the bike wouldnt turn

    i didnt quite get out of bed in time. (12:30), so i went to kimmys instead. did i miss much?

    Its that gyroscopic thing. Perhaps you'd better talk to Lester and get a fleet of Husabergs for the rental fleet.

    It was a very nice track took me just over a hour to do the main A loop which i was happy with. Broke clutch cable 5km from the end after helping a quad up a hill. Did a 15km loop on a wr250 and that was me. I was going to go over and see who i thought was Cave Weta but he had his hands full teaching somebody to ride some red thing lol. Good to see some sections quads can't use Will be making the trip again
