Ok I'm trying to get one of the fork caps off the GT250R but they are a lovely polished soft alloy 17mm hex nut, and they are real tight. Any hints before I get brutal ?
thanks,
Steve

I find a single turn of alloy foil tape works perfectly, especially on anodized caps.
I have had the fork caps off the DR four times to date with not a mark.
