Fuck thats a low thing to do. You must be spitting tacks! I had a bike pushed aver by a group of drunken fuckwits once. What made it worse is that I had only just had it painted etc after a minor off, so I know just how you feel. I suspect nothing is going to calm you down or allow you to see the bright side of this, but at least you have some good people to lend you a hand putting it right.

I vote for the next thursday ride we don our stetsons and get a vigilante group riding around town to track down those no-good mo-fo's

and then teach them how to ride towed behind CSL's bike with a rope around there ankles...teach them to stuff with someone elses property......

    SHIT!

Cathy, sorry to hear this love, you seem to be having a bad run of "luck" with that bike As you can see, before you get a new bike, you need to move somewhere that has a garage, and keep it in there at all times. I don't understand the way some people's mind works. What possible reason do they have to cause damage to other people's property? Is it because they can't have it, so no one else can? Alot of the way people act, is due to how they are brought up. Keeping this in mind, you can understand why lots of the population think thats ok, and funny. They are nothing but low-life, degenerate, uncivilised scum who will amount to adults of the same value. Utterly worthless to society, they make no difference to anything, and noone will miss them when they do us a favour and die.

Listen Cathy, I know it's upsetting (believe me, I'd be spitting bits of my ribs out!!!), but try put on a brave face. Give me a call if you want to hang out, or do a stake-out on the bike, beating the living bejeezus out of anyone who touches the thing.

Your bike will get sorted in time, I promise. All you need is a new key (or new ignition) and some polyfilla and paint, or a new tank and paint. Both could be dirt cheap at a wreckers, and done properly will look good as new. And, you get to do more hands on work on the bike, which is the best way to learn about your machine.

    Dave.

Yeah and getting your hands on the scum that do this sort of shit is a good way to learn about human anatomy too... From the inside out....

Ok feeling a bit calmer today. When I got home from work yesterday I eventually went and had another look at the bike - it wasn't as bad as I thought but it still looks horrible and the new paint job is rooted. It may be worth while for me to just get a new tank actually b/c while I was on my road trip the current tank had developed a rust spot anyway. So once I have some folding stuff I'll look into it.

Anyway this is also a not say:

    THANK YOU

to all you fabulous KBers who have PMd me with sympathies and posted on here. It never ceases to amaze me how genuinely giving and helpful people I have met on KBs are.

At this rate I think I'm gonna have to throw a big party to thank you all!

CSL - that sucks. Nothing more to say really.

Hope today turns out a hell of a lot better (and the turd that had a go at your bike manages to catch something rare, tropical, sore, itchy and long lasting).

We all have our bad days, and yours sounded like a really bad one.

    good luck with this one

They'd better be able to sit on a skateboard or they're not going to move.

Hmmm... If they had no legs it may be easier...

    PS. Get well soon Betty.

Sorry to hear about this Cathy! If you ever move out our way we have a garage (bikes only!) for ya.

Shit, I hate finding threads like this on Monday mornings!
No, that's not true. I just hate the morons that do that sort of mindless shit.

Two neighbours caught some dicks throwing rocks at a street light on the weekend. For fucks sake! Why?!
