black boot polish has also been known to work, along with tiger balm or "percutane" rub.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

yeah but get this, 3 of us rode up and I knew we all had sore arses be the funny walk we did every time we paid for gas, but for some reason we didnt talk about it... is it a macho thing or could it have been that the other 2 were riding suzukis and they had bamboo undies on...

For long distances I always use a sheepskin on my seat!! or replace your seat with a custom made one with more padding in it.

Talc powder works real good for sweat, under bits & in creases.. & as mentioned, it's safe to keep it on ya workbench.. for you know.. doing tyres..
    GET ON
    SIT DOWN
    SHUT UP
    HANG ON

Were you wearing leather?... if not then get leather... so much more comfy on long hot rides. Sheepskin also works (without the sheep).

You were wondering why the other two riders with you said nothing... you could always start the conversation first.

And remember, Ladies, as my old Grandma used to say:

    Horses sweat
    Men perspire
    Ladies only glow.

Some days I glow like a pig.

I have heard that sheep skin works, have you tried it?

Hard to start a conversation asking a guy to show me his ass haha, I'm just glad others have experienced SAS and provided so many options to combat it.

Not so sure about shoe polish tho, that might not work up here in the North Island climate..

It's probably best to contact your nearest vet unless somebody reports this ass abuse to the SPCA.

They're arses in these parts, or should be.

Liberal amounts of talcum powder. Ya may smell like a poof but at least after a long ride you will not walk like one.
