Trust BMW to really fuck up what a cruiser should look like!
Redefining slow since 2006...
I have 2 of these.
Yamaha GTS1000AE...42 were sold in Aussie and 2 in NZ. In 93 the Kwaka ZZR1100 was priciest Jap bike at around $13000.
List on the GTS was 21000
The (RADD) front suspension was designed by James Parker, he is now working on a GSXRadd1000 which is now in testing.
Honda considered using RADD on the ST1300 but lost their nerve after poor sales of the GTS.
The steering/braking/suspension compromise is eliminated with Radd and it handles like its on rails.

1934 aye, well ahead of its time for sure. Wonder if Adolf had anything to do with it, 2nd year in power & well keen to exert Bavarian dominance every where possible, Germany was certainly kicking ass in F1 at the time.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
design well ahead of its time....
