    LMFAO...you old fart :spudwave:

Hey in all seriousness though good for you for trying to teach these guys some kinda bike safety. Would I have listened at that age? From someone on a bike maybe I would have.

You never know you may have just saved a life !

    Good move man!

    1) you at least had some cred with them being on a bike
    2) I think the biggest surpirse to many is that there are people out there that actually care.

Kids are being brought up to know the rules and get away with breaking them if they can. It's just a game and of course when you are young and bulletproof "how could anything possibly go wrong?"

I was at a concert and some kid in front of me decided it was time to play "kick the shit out of a sign". Same thing - I went and had words with him and his surprise was obvious... it wasn't acceptable behaviour.

Thos kids on the bikes are going to hurt or kill themselves eventually. That's bad, but the additional problem is they'll also scar anyone else involved, physically and mentally.

Not good. I say more people shoudl be doing that. It sends the message that it's not only against the law, but it is dangerous and unacceptable to the rest of us too.

Good on ya man - do it again anytime

    Guess what

......... thats right I was pulling out the drive in the work van an hr ago and those to brain dead teenagers came flying through at full noise and disapared down the rail tracks again, well by the time I was up to the servo I saw them pulling in..... so yip I had to ask 'dident you fuking wee c*#ts listen to what I said, why did you just pull that dumb ass stunt again' his answer 'cos its fun' my reply went something like this 'theres no fun in being dead... aint no bikes in teenager heaven boys.... think about it.
I left it at that, they havent been back past yet so maybe a black singlet wearing tattooed thug like me with DG's on scared the crap out of them and they took off the other way or they walked past my joint pushing the bikes on tippy toes..... then again I may of made no differance what so ever
    cheers DD

Try and 'back-track' the boys and see where they live, it may be that there parents don't give a fat-rats arse what the boys do but then again they might just be really worried about what you have to say.

I've had an experience similar to yours where the parents honestly believed the boys were 'just riding up the grass verge and riding around Mr Wilsons paddock and the bikes don't go very fast"
And when they found out the truth? Hooboy, no bike for a bit (mainly 'cos of the lies) and the riding was a tad more toned down and they ALWAYS had a helemt and gloves etc when they DID get the bike back.

    Little buggers eh?!
Hmm, there's always a chance that lads like these will try to run if the cops turn up- that could turn nasty and your predictions of them killing themselves would become a self fulfilling prophecy.
Scumdogs idea is probably the safest. Shit if a scary looking bugger like you didn’t give them a fright I don’t know what will….maybe you should’ve worn that mini you were supposed to wear to Ruapuna

Show them the pictures of that Aussie guy who lost it on his gixxer (it's in one of the threads here). Failing that, get the piano wire ready for next time you hear them coming.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

isn't that just encouraging cops to spend time on traffic duties instead of blue-lighting it to historic burglaries?

    Arrow Well.

I think that we where all like that at some stage. Just that some of us did the misbehaving out the back of town and out of the public eye. Hopefully you did make a difference and he'll also have a talk to the other rider.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
