    Thumbs up Indian pow-wow

    Not the Kumars, but the NZ Indian owners national rally out the back of Lake Karapiro.
    Me n Kanny went for a nosey, and were swarmed by Chiefs, Scouts and even a rare 4cyl 440.
    The rain showers slowed a few down as one would expect from magneto's and distributors, but all made it back to the camp.
    One hardy sole even rode his steed from Haast to the Waikato. Give that man a round of applause.

    Mind you the Thunder Run earlier today was amazing.

    Was there an Indian Super Chief there at all? My dad used to own one back in the '30s.
    The pic is a brass indian head that he made and was mounted on the front guard instead of a number plate

    (Afterthought) there's an oddball Indian out at Southwards museum in Waikanae - its a transverse V twin like a Guzzi, may even be shaft drive as well (long time since I've been there)
