Most of the guys I talked to didn't seem to be of "the refined gentlemans club" sort. (hell, they tried to whisk kanny away, and do squaw like stuff to her. Guess Indian riders are like dirty old Triumph riders)
The bike with the NY Police symbol on the tank was the Indian in Peter Jackson's King Kong movie, (cept all the chrome had been blanked out).
The owner wants to loose the symbol, as it was put on just for the movie.
The guys talked about the Kiwi in the states rebuilding /recasting all the bits for them. I think the company is called Kiwi Indian.
The only posers I saw there was a couple of HD boys standing round looking staunch. And the only bike on a ute was a damn Triumph, (speedmaster).
I think the Indians were going to scalp it after dark.
Great bunch of friendly approachable old buggars.
Makes me want to get an old scout, and wax cotton leggings.
nice write up bro, cool photos. saw it in the local rag so was gona head out those ways for a nose but then the wife and kids buzz got in the way.
would be nice to see an american type John bloor get the indian rights and bring it into the 22century

Bollocks, get of your arse and go get it
Back OT - You can get 'modern day' Indians can't you?
There was one for sale at the Kooomeu show
Cheers for sharing the pics.
I dont know why but I have allways loved the Indian, Nice bikes
If you are behind me
Dont ask as I am lost too.
Correct me if I'm wrong there was a time when Indian and Harley were running head to head.
Don't know what gave Harley the edge other than either Indian or Harley won some contract during the second world war to supply the Army with motor cycles. Anyone got the guff on this??

Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....
