What a fine tribute to a fine man,,,, thanks
A universal dream of greatness is that
We push ourselves to the limit
Yet still be brilliant when the chips are down.

All tributes are fitting in their own way, but it saddens me that someone has to die for there to be tributes...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I agree! Saddens me more when there is intolerance of peoples grief at times like these too mate, Grub was much to many here, and is sadly missed indeed.

Like all of us, he was many things. And we, here, were just a part of his life.
Grief must run its course, and that's different for all of us. I cannot understand those braindead-types that think 3 months is 'time to be over it'. One can only assume that they have never experienced a death that close, or that they have a 'wiring' problem.

Agree with you there. I had to turn the life support off to my father just 3 weeks before my 21st birthday so I know what it's like to lose someone close.

It even quite sad for me to do this but thought I did the right thing.

You certainly did! It is always hard to lose a mate. You have helped create a lasting memorial to him, and also to show others that may have wanted to be there but were not able to, what happened. It shows me another perspective too, thank you.

Thankfully the sad, f*#@!d up and cold people are not the majority.

Braindead, wiring problem, down right rude and bullish...whatever the reason I have NO respect for people that think they have a right to tell others that they should 'just get over' any person in their life dying.

Kari, Grub was a friend to many on here and we know you are doing so much more than what others faced with the same situation would do.

I take my hat off to people like you and 'The Guzzie Widow'. Ladies your strength and determination to make sure that something positive results from YOUR loss to help others is staggering. I am regularly lost for words due to the selflessness and generosity you have both shown in the sharing of your stories and the efforts you make to try to make things better and safer for all of us on the road.

    MUCH RESPECT

Nudes did an awesome job ... and it is well appreciated by more than me and I am thrilled by that .... that some people don't know how to appreciate the value of life is a real tragedy ... I personally don't think it was depressing I thought it was really awesome that so many people participated ... and that so many people actually care! that is a farking amazing story ... in a world where often people don't.
Life is a gift that we have all been given. Live life to the full and ensure that you have absolutely no
    regrets.

This is the least depressing thing to come out of his death and those that think its depressing obviously have never been through any pain or anything heartbreaking in their lives, lets hope that they can live in their tiny little cotton wool box behind their PC forever...
Thanks Nudez and Kari for sharing this! I was a part of that tribute ride as were so many others and it is awesome to have something to remember that day.
Grub meant so much to so many people and anyone that thinks that any of us, least of all you K should just move on after only 3 months is kidding themselves. Uncle B died over 2 years ago and I still think of him most days.
