just a warning that there is about 1/2 mile of unsealed road (both sides of the road) between the quarry and the coromandel Turn off. I came through about 4.30 and they have spread big stones and its pretty deep. Looks like thats what it will be like till at least tomorrow, so please take care, it was pretty scary in the daylight, will be bloody terrifying in the dark!!! honestly do the roading people think about how much of a hazard they create when they leave sites like that one??
