To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

That is an AWESOME vid. Loved the Colin Edwards keeping his bikes going by using his arm as an out rigger.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Nothing wrong with putting that vid up again fella... good viewing.

And just to confirm my really amateur status at this shit, I can easy enough understand the power sliding while in and coming out of corners... but this controlled sliding under brakes has got me fooked. Anyone care to explain the hows to's? And for the squidlies, this will not be for attempts on your favourite road to get it sideways... this is track stuff only.

well...its bullshit really...its not fast...and its not actually backing it in. backing it in is wheel the wheel is still spinning...locking up the rear brake is not really an efficient way to brake...and its really easy..any fool can do it..try it!!

    Yeah, nice compilation vid!
A bit too much of the guy in the white leathers though (he was a very loose unit).
My favorite is still Gary McCoy sliding his Red Bull Yamaha, and pulling it up into a wheelie while the rear was still lit up and sliding!
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Yeah what a load of trash aye !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Impresive to watch the pros at it under power but the guy in the white leathers didn't look any where as good as it did appear to be under brakes not "on the gas"
