    Speedo Regulations for WOF

Hi i am wanting to build a streetfighter and i am wondering about the regulations fo speedos for a WOF. also does anyone one know if its easy to change the speedo pickup. Like are they pretty universal or are they brand specific. I am wanting to put a fxr 150 speedo on my zzr. Is this possible?

    Thanks

You must have a speedo (unless first registered < 1950). And it must be illuminated. You don't have to have a mileage counter (odometer).

Speedos are mechanical, or electronic. The mecahnical sort (with a big cable going to them) are sort of interchangeable. Theres a few (maybe 4, 5 ?) different gearing ratios that they come in (and mph versus KPH of course). By and large the cables are USUALLY standard. But I wouldn't bet on it. Are you keeping the original speedo drive ?

    Electronic, probably bike specific.

You can get pushbike speedometers. Technically, these qualify. But be prepared for an argument with the wofdude.
