    wounder why they never went to the pri-amiture(spelling) double backbone frame???? bike just looks way to dated for it age.

    must have knowen the end was near for big smokey and just gave up.

    Perimeter frame? I heard it was because most people bought them for desert racing and you couldn't fit as big a gas tank in the perimeter frame (compared to the single backbone frame). Maybe this is an urban legend though and it could be that Kawasaki just never got round to updating a bike which wasn't selling all that well any more.

    I still remember the first time I rode one of these, I was about 14 and it was the middle of winter, left massive trenches up the hills at my olds place

    its been on trademe for ages... i drool over it occasionally. bloody ugly thing though, the CRs look better, but only a little

    Thats my dream bike!! Ill have a cheaper on within 2 weeks and ill challenge you to a duel! braaaaaaap! hahahaha Yeah there ugly but there fast, sound cool and there the best old school bike around!
