he he heeee, i'm gonna bring some seriousness back soon. Just gotta get away from work so i can put my choice pics up.

Crazycr250... seems like you got a good deal on that bike. Can't find any 05 300s but a few 03-04s are askin for 5-7 grand. I'm gonna go test ride one of those hopefully.

My favourite is still the black 08 250. But my choice pic is the 07 6 days 250 that barty showed me. $6000 seems a good price when others are askin 7500 for non 6 dayers. Anyone know what extras come with the 6 days model? Doesn't look like much except uglier graphics and hand guards?

cool, thanks noob, I shall bling ya ming. I checked that stuff over on the 6 day bike i'm keen on. I didn't think any of NZ bikes were engine or exhaust restricted But the expansion chanber on this bike is black and all the others i've seen are silver. Anyone know the diff?

Also, i figured it was an 06... he has it advertised as an 07. He probably picked the thing up at the Auction after Taupo for less than he's asking for it!

did you look at it like in real life sorta thing (if ya know what i mean)? what was the seller like? old fukker? loaded? and other info on it? it looks kinda well used... how would you rate it's condition say compared to yours? didn't ride it did ya?

Yeah, in the back of my mind i'm still considering the 200 although the more i think about it the less i like the idea. what i really want is that 08 250. Age is kinda more important to me than 50cc. In saying that i would definately go for the 300 if the prices were better. There's not too many around tho (for sale that is)

Grasshopper is a brilliant name for ya noob. or you could change it to booby? in all seriousness tho, go for grasshopper. We'll see if we can get reckless to change his name to Mr Miaggi

Sorry mate I've had Reckless Since i was 20 or so. !! So bloody long I've got to old to be riding recklessly anymore!!

Why Mr Miaggi? you mad bugger LOL!!! I have a suspicion I shouldn't have asked that!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

I was in the same boat as you looking for a 07 or newer KTM 250 or 300 and I was getting nowhere. I ended up getting a brand new 07 Husky WR250 for $7995. There were also some cheap 07 Gassers around. Read some of the 250 enduro shootouts and you'll see there is very little between them really - certainly not enough to support the high 2nd hand prices on the KTMs. Might still be some of those $7995 Gas Gas or Husqvarna 250s sitting in a dealer somewhere (1 month back Maidstone Yamaha still had a Husky).
