    however, in all fairness, your 650 is probably much more sturdy in the wind than my "piddley 250"

    hope u made it ok, wasn't as bad as forecast in the end was it? some good advice here, centre lanes def. better, big trucks are OK shields if theyre on the right side. I find its good to stay on the gas when its real windy (grew up in Wairarapa commute over Rimutakas) so when a gust comes powering into it gives a little more control.
