    Hey man,
    Ive got the same bike and Im having major problems with missfiring on mine..just posted a new thread on it lasy nite.
    U say it loses power at 15+ .. Does it just lack power..or does it missfire?

    Just lacks power. Bike shop reckons it just needs a tuneup, but a tuneup will cost me $350 + parts! So i think ill wait a while, im hardly a money tree...

    Yeah i'd be keen, I need to do more riding and develop some skills - at the moment I dont really have the confidence to throw it around the twisties yet...

    So what was the gremlin?

    My 250 used to bog sometimes if trying to give it the good stuff (like when overtaking etc) esp if under 10,000rpm

    My mates gonna get my bike into weltec for a cheap tuneup (i dont mind it being a guinea pig for students)
