    RG clutch cable

I wheeled out the rg to go for an evening ride, got to the end of the driveway and the clutch cable decided to snap. At least I didn't have to push it far I guess.
Does anyone have a cable to sell me or know where i can get one cheap?

Happened to me too a while ago cont remember how much, but the new ones have been redesigned so that the dont break as easy (original one had a design flaw) Not too much to buy i think??? $50?? But dont quote me Atomic Bike Wreckers is wrecking a 1998 RG150 so you might be able to get some parts

Suzuki will give me a clutch cable for $50 when they wanted $180 for an indicator. Nice of them.

Sent Atomic an email, I'll see what price they give me, and go to my local suzuki dealer on monday. If they really are only $50 I will probably buy a new one.

I recall the clutch cable cost me about $45 after the shop gave me the other one costing $60 and didn't fit. They are tight anyway, but geez, took a couple of busted knuckles to be sure.

And the RG150E atomic is wreaking is my old pride and joy which I somehow put the piston through the wall. He seemed surprised that I could do 700 kms trips on it doing the speed limit.

So the clutch cable is a replacement not the original. Genuine Suzuki Part.

Ring Southern Brakes and Driveline, see if they'll make a new one for you. I'm pretty sure that they're Invercargill.
