    Trade.... Take 2. This time a 05 CR250

Since the KX250 guy told me he didnt want to trade as soon as I got to rotorua... Back looking again

This bike + $500 for my bike... Whatya reckon?

Ignore the fork seals... Its in the shop getting them fixed, new pads and rotor on the front, and new steering bearings.

Bent radiator but cant really complain as mine is the same

that bike looks good to go. He is paying you the $500 right?

A radiator can be fixed for about $50 (depending on damage).

Ask him about the rear linkages and when they were last greased/replaced.

Good as its got the pipe on it. If you want to tame it a bit more add a flywheel weight.

Yeap. Nah, dont wanna tame it :P. He seems pretty on to it with maintanace etc... the only thing i was a lil worried about it that he said he ran it on 96 which is supposed to make em detonate, and i dont think he will let me pull it ta bits while its still his ahaha.

Yeah can get pinging on 96 but I've ran my 05 on 96 a couple of times and it doesn't do it too bad.

i'd do it in a flash aye. I was stoked as to go from my 06 CRF to my 05 CR.

Cheers man. But if he ran it all the time, would there be any damage?

also, dont expect much bottom end. my brother in law has an 05 with the same pipe / muffler as this and there isnt much down low compared to ones running fmf fattys / shortys

ok, so we were gonna meet in aucks on thursday... but i got him to send a pic of the radiators just before.

They are totally fucked - He said its never overheated etc and he brought it like that which is prob true... but have a look. Theyre so bent that the shrouds cant even connect to the rads. One side doesnt even have fins.

I might be able to squeeze some more cash out of him... But dya reckon these can be straighted and streched or am i looking at new ones? I need them good enough to put radiator guards on. I think the worst ones a replacement job, dont you?

Keep in mind that one side on my bikes fucked.

    Thanks

its not hard to straighten them to a satisfactory standard. just need to watch for cracks. i suppose the best way to explain it is you need to ooze them back into shape, controlled force is better than useing a hammer. it can be done
